FAQ

sooo...you want to know more?

To get into OAP, you must be 18+ and have your McGill ID.

Yes! If you aren't a McGill student, fear not - you can get in if you have a valid government-issued photo ID and are accompanied by a McGill student at the time of entry. Each McGill stuent may only bring in one non-McGill student.

OAP Lite runs from 12PM to 9PM on April 29th and 30th. It is important to note that there is no re-entry after 8:30PM.

All profits from OAP Lite go to the Presidents Choice Children's Charity. All profits from Fall OAP go towards the Engineering Undergraduate Society, helping to fund its many clubs and design teams, which often need expensive parts and equipment to operate.

OAP offers beef burgers, chicken burgers, hot-dogs, and veggie burgers, all grilled right before your eyes. Cheese is available on burgers for no additional cost.

OAP offers beer, cider, sangria, water, and pop.

OAP is organized and operated by a dedicated team of managers, consisting of students from the Faculty of Engineering who volunteer their time to make this event happen. However, OAP would not be possible without the continued dedication of hundreds of student volunteers from accross all faculties.

Anyone can volunteer, we're always looking for people to help out! Come by the ticket tent or find a manager in a black shirt and say you're interested in volunteering. If you would like to stay updated on all things OAP volunteering then join this Facebook group.

Absolutely not! Anyone is welcome to help out, so don't be shy!

Come by the ticket tent, we've got you covered! We've got t-shirts, socks, toques, key tags, hats, and more, for super low prices! We'd recommend you purchase your merch early in OAP, as it tends to sell out quickly. Keep an eye out for new swag to be added in the future!

When OAP is not on, you can buy OAP merchandise at the EUS General Store in the McConnell Engineering Building.
